Coming Soon.....Days 6, 7 and 8!

I'm writing this from my ipad, because I left my PC at work; Days 6 and 7 photos are on my iPhone's camera, but for some reason they won't download to my ipad.......I needed a 'perfect storm,' one that would cause all of my electronic devices to sinc together, but it ain't happening!! Sigh....So, check back for tomorrow's post.....it'll be a doozy! 😀

Today, I'm not feeling well......so my photo isn't that inspiring.  It was taken from the deck of our tree house; I took it while looking down the stairs.  I did like the shadows that were cast by the sunlight tho.

Day Four-Something that is Green

Well, isn't that fortuitous?  Do you like the big word, Mitch? 
My eyes just happen to be......green!  And, the Bible verse that I love the most; because it changes my attitude when I apply it, just happens to contain the word.....eyes!
 

Psalm 123:1–2 I lift up my eyes to you, to you who sit enthroned in heaven.  As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he shows us his mercy.

Day 3-Clouds

Today's sunset was gorgeous!  And wasn't it just peachy that today's challenge was clouds? I wish my photos could've done it justice.  It reminded me that someday, hopefully real soon, Jesus is going to come through the clouds and call me HOME!

365 Day Photo Challenge-Day One

Game On!
Day One:  Self Portrait
I know, it's not a typical self portrait, but I thought it'd be fun to pay homage to my feet! They aren't the prettiest feet, I know, but they serve me well.  Today, the first day of a new year, while I did some laundry, I organized the laundry room cupboards. I then made chicken soup, along with 2 canning jars full of veggie soup stock. I rearranged the freezer in the garage and I cleaned out the kitchen fridge. And my feet were there for me the whole day thru. So I treated them to a pedi, pretty polish and all; and then I put those hard working little piggies up on the ottoman for a much needed rest!

Counting Sheep

Rest........Sleep.....so elusive lately.  The other day, before I made up our bed, I had such a longing to jump back in it and sleep the day away.
Can I just say that I am longing for heaven.......for REST.  I know, I'm taking liberties with the word....but still, I am longing for an eternity of......REST!
